Megabit together with Comarch and 7-Technologies continue the implementation of mathematical model of water supply network for the Warsaw city. The project covers not only model building and calibration but also realization of SCADA system, asset data acquisition and GIS database updating. The SCADA system will be integrated with our GIS software working in Warsaw Water Company using our Mb_MDB software.

Our representatives took part in the 22nd European Conference for ESRI Users, EUC 2007. Maciej Grzenda, Software Development Manager has delivered a presentation on “GIS for visualization in utility”. The way the GIS system is integrated in mb_GIS Utility EE with asset management, SCADA systems and work management has been discussed.

We are proud to inform you that the seminar “Use of modelling and GIS solutions for network optimization” organised by The Royal Danish Embassy, 7– Technologies and Megabit was a great success. Nearly 130 representatives of the Water Companies took part in the event. At the seminar we presented modern technologies for modelling the water distribution network followed by examples in operation. It was a great possibility for the participants to learn how to improve water quality and hydraulic performance while reducing cost and leakages.
